Liberatv - Sant’Anna Clinic: A New Palliative Care Center Opens

Antonio Sansossio presents the project developed in collaboration with the Genolier Foundation: “More humane care means putting the person at the center, through listening, guidance, and practical tools accessible to everyone, regardless of insurance coverage.”

Clinica Sant’Anna is launching a new project dedicated to the patient’s overall well-being, designed to complement traditional treatments with a more comprehensive and personalized approach. On Tuesday, June 2, the Supportive Care Center will open, created to offer people suffering from serious, chronic, and oncological illnesses multidisciplinary support that addresses not only clinical needs but also emotional, relational, and psychophysical aspects.

Yoga, art therapy, music therapy, nutrition, and acupuncture are some of the activities offered as part of a program aimed at improving quality of life during and after treatment. Antonio Sansossio, Head of Communications for the Swiss Medical Network Ticino Region and a member of the Genolier Foundation Board of Trustees, explains the philosophy behind the initiative.
