International Consensus Conference Advances Care for Colorectal Liver Metastases

Houston, USA – February 24–26, 2026 – Experts from around the world convened at the Colorectal Liver Metastasis Consensus Conference 2026, co-organized by the University of Zurich and MD Anderson Cancer Center, to establish evidence-based guidelines for the management of colorectal liver metastases.

Prof. Pierre-Alain Clavien from Privatklinik Bethanien, together with Dr. Matthias Pfister and Hannah Rasel, played a key role in the scientific planning and direction of the conference. The independent jury, chaired by Prof. Gregory Gores (Mayo Clinic), developed the final recommendations, which will be published in Nature Medicine.
