Here, Privatklinik Bethanien and Spital Zollikerberg combine their strengths, the experience of their multidisciplinary teams and the findings from the latest scientific studies under the roof of «BrustCentrum Zürich», offering patients high-quality breast cancer treatment.

This is also guaranteed by the quality label for highly qualified breast centres of the Swiss Cancer League and the Swiss Society for Senology. In order to be awarded the quality label, 100 different criteria must be met. SONATA – Modern heat treatment of fibroids in the uterus

The Sonata method is a relatively simple way to treat multiple symptomatic fibroids without an abdominal incision or injury to the uterus. Postoperative pain is rare. The method is also possible if you wish to have children.

Radiofrequency ablation of fibroids under transcervical ultrasound guidance (SONATA®system) has been available in Switzerland since 2017. Under anaesthesia, a probe is inserted into the uterine cavity so that the fibroids can be localised and treated by heat. The heat treatment shrinks the fibroids in the weeks and months that follow.
